5 Incredible Women You Need to Follow After 40

There’s no escaping it, our 40s and 50s can be a real rollercoaster: emotionally, physically and mentally.

Seismic life events, high stress lives and the physical and mental challenges that peri and post menopause have a significant impact our health, wellbeing and confidence.
While we all know prioritising fitness and wellbeing, can significantly help our resilience and adaptability, it’s usually a lack of either time, energy or even money which can make it seem impossible to access the information we really need.
But, what if I told you there’s a team of top international scientists, nutritionists and health advisors ready to help you optimise your outcomes? Not only that, but their information is free and available whenever and wherever you want it…

Welcome to the definitive list of 40-plus female health podcasters… the women you really should be following, for the most up-to-date health and fitness information.

Dr Stacy Sims: The Exercise Physiologist
This PHD holding expert in women’s physiology, nutrition and training has published over 100 peer reviewed papers. Two decades ago she coined the term, “Women are not small men,” and then set about proving that almost everything we know about women’s exercise physiology is neither based on, nor developed for- a women’s hormonal journey.
Her podcast covers everything from exercise and resistance training to hydration, recovery, repair, plus bone and heart health post menopause.
Her research has impacted women at every stage of their lives globally and continues to do so with her evidence-based guidance on training smarter, eating better and recovering more efficiently.
