Because I am lucky enough to be a personal trainer and spend my days helping women on their personlised health and fitness journey. Many begin feeling despondent and constrained, yet after only a few months of consistent and sustained effort, they discover a life of unrestricted movement and a stronger/fitter/healthier body.
So many women I meet who are 50 plus seem to have simply given up on their wellbeing. Given up on being able to move through the Rak’ahs in prayer- forced to sit down instead. Given up on taking the stairs and even their routine daily walks. It is really sad to see, but many have even given up on the idea of ever feeling happy within their own bodies again.
Yet, after several months of consistent work, a balance of yoga and stretching, functional movement patterns and incremental resistance training, many of my PT clients simply can not believe how amazing they feel with a new range of movement, stronger body and improved energy levels.
Throughout their personal training, we work together to improve posture, build confidence in movement, and develop the strength to lift, balance and coordinate across the many movements they require in their average day.
We take a sustainable and realistic approach to reducing fat and building muscle, taking time to implement better nutritional strategies and improve sleeping habits.
Of course this doesn’t happen over-night, but slowly over several months these women begin to love how they feel, have renewed trust in their bodies and truly enjoy the new activities they can now participate in.

I’m Cursty, an experienced and certified ladies’ personal trainer based in Sharjah. I specialise in helping busy, professional women, especially those in peri/post menopause to feel stronger, leaner, and more energised.
I utilise a holistic approach via functional fitness, smart nutrition, and really ‘do-able’ lifestyle support.
